In the weeks following the late November ice storm, Bobby Scott rarely took a break from meeting the needs of AFR insureds who suffered storm damage. Scott is an AFR claims adjuster for central Oklahoma.
When a storm hits, we put everything else on hold. We try to contact everyone within 48 hours.
Scott said they prioritize claims according to the amount of damage.
“The more severe damage, where there is a tree limb poking through the roof or something similar, receives top priority,” Scott said.
During the first few days following the storm, Scott struggled to maneuver around fallen trees and power lines.
