AFR Agents Host Open Houses

Laverne Insurance

New AFR agent Kodel Cunningham has purchased the Blair Group Agency in Laverne.  She held a Christmas open house at her agency on December 16 to welcome policyholders to meet their new agent. The event was a town-wide celebration attracting several people.

Cunningham is licensed in Property and Casualty and Life and has hired Melissa Deal, who is studying to get her producers license, to help in the agency. 

Cunningham was raised in Laverne. She enjoys spending time with her family on the ranch where they raise cattle and grow alfalfa on their farm. Kodel and her husband of 17 years, Andy, have a daughter, Rayli, and a son, Keb.

Jestis Insurance

New AFR agent Landon Jestis, former AFR claims adjuster for four years, has purchased the Colclazier & Burns Agency in Durant. Jestis held a Christmas Open House in his new location on December 22 to welcome policyholders to meet their new agent. 

Both new and long-time insureds visited to see the new location and enjoy the refreshments. Jestis feels the event was an overall success with several members of AFR leadership present throughout the day. 

Jestis is licensed in Property and Casualty. He was an independent claims adjuster for 13 years before becoming a claims adjuster for AFR. Jestis has hired Chyanna Huddleston, a recent graduate from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She is studying to get her CSR license to help in the agency.

Jestis and his wife of 17 years, Leandra, have three children and raise horses and cattle. Landon enjoys watching his kids play sports, team roping, hunting and fishing.

The Jestis Insurance Agency is located at 1201 West Evergreen, near the corner of 12th and Main in Durant.

Newsome Insurance

Newsome held a Customer Appreciation Luncheon at the local senior citizen center in Clinton on November 12. Several members of AFR leadership were present throughout the day to show support. 

Agents Donna and Nicole were able to show their appreciation to their policyholders with the help of the AFR Marketing Department. Everyone had an enjoyable afternoon filled with friends and food.
